Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, use cutting tools and body-repair methods, and ensure work meets labor time guidelines. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Technical school program or 3-year auto body apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare repair work and cost estimates for customers.
• Repair vehicle bodies using tools to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass as needed.
• Inspect vehicles post-repair to ensure work meets standards.
