Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align chassis, replace parts, and ensure quality and speed in a collaborative shop environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Estimate repair costs for customers.
• Use trade tools to repair dented panels and structural damage.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged sections or parts.
• Weld, paint, and finish vehicles to manufacturer specs.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety.
