Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician in Oshkosh, WI. You will repair and refinish vehicles to return them to pre-accident condition and work within a fast-paced team focused on quality and speed.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma (or equivalent), technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship, and the ability to read job orders and use common repair tools. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interiors as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specifications or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect completed work.
