Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Sheboygan, WI is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver top-tier customer experience through meticulous vehicle repair and quality workmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while contributing to speed, quality, and customer excellence across the shop.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers; uses tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins when needed; realigns chassis and frames.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; replaces or repairs glass and interior parts.
• Welds and attaches parts; prepares and repaints to factory specs; checks work against labor guidelines.
