Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, realign chassis, and replace damaged components, working with a team to meet KPI targets.

You will use tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers to restore vehicles, applying factory paint and ensuring quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship is preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, apply paint per factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished repairs.
