Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle inspection, repair, and reassembly to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will work with the team to meet KPIs, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence across projects.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and typically a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of technical school or an apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience reading job orders and performing auto body repairs with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use common auto body tools and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld, fit, and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
