Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Michigan is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassemble and reassemble components, weld and repaint as needed. You’ll help hit KPIs and maintain WOW customer service throughout the repair process.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus formal auto body training or a 3-year apprenticeship and a Michigan mechanics license. Benefits accompany a full-time schedule with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• MI Mechanics License required.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles.
• Replaces damaged sections with new parts and repairs glass and windshields.
• Repairs interior parts and prepares/repaints vehicles per factory specs.
