Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass, based in Michigan, is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle assessment and high-quality repairs to restore pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, align frames, replace parts and glass, and paint to factory specifications, while meeting KPI targets and upholding the brand promise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Repair dents and minor body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass; repaint vehicles as required.
• Weld and fit parts into place; inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
