Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Michigan is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers, while aligning with WOW plan and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair glass, interiors, and paint as needed.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
