Gerber Collision & Glass in Flint, MI, seeks an Auto Body Technician to expertly repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble and paint vehicles, plan repairs, and prepare accurate cost estimates for customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical training or apprenticeship. You’ll work with a team in a fast-paced shop, using a range of tools and safety practices to ensure top-quality results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, repairs and reassembles vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plans repairs and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Replaces damaged sections and glass, welds and paints to factory specs.
• Completes work within labor guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
