Gerber Collision & Glass in Michigan is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver high-quality repairs and a great customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble vehicles, and ensure work meets KPI standards.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship is preferred. You must read job orders well, use proper repair tools, and work effectively with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of body repair methods and proper use of shop tools.

Responsabilités

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using the right tools.
• Realign chassis and weld/attach parts as needed; inspect finished work for quality.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and inspect for accuracy.
