Gerber Collision & Glass in Battle Creek, MI is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality, and customer-excellence KPIs.

You will plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, use a range of tools, realign chassis, replace parts, weld, and repaint to factory specs. Ideal candidate has a HS diploma or equivalent and/or a technical apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsabilités

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using various tools.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new/aftermarket parts; repair glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
