Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations at the Sacramento collision center and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will coach and empower team members, oversee budgets, and drive KPI performance in collaboration with senior leadership.

The role demands proven leadership in collision repair, strong client focus, and the ability to maintain safety, quality, and throughput while guiding staff through ongoing training and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to consistently demonstrate a successful client experience.
• Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills.
• Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
• Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
• Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint booth.
• Provide training for all staff as necessary.
• Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
• Attend monthly managers meetings and training sessions recommended by Senior Leadership Team.
• Store CSI performance review and follow up within 24 hours.
