Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. A patient, compassionate team player is essential.

Training is provided; prior experience is not required. The role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds as clients move during sessions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress
• Collaborate with team to ensure consistency across sessions
