Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The role requires physical activity lifting up to 50 pounds and the ability to pass background checks; pay ranges from $18

Qualifications

• Patient-focused approach to working with children with autism.
• Compassionate, collaborative team member in a dynamic setting.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and related health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist BCBA under supervision and document progress on plans.
• Support the child in reducing interfering behaviors and promoting safety.
