Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors.

Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within the field. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team; you should be physically capable of lifting up to 50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred or required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while promoting positive, functional behavior.
