Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing intervention plans under a BCBA and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills. Training is provided, and you will gain hands-on experience in a supportive team environment.

Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and obtain CPR/First Aid and TB testing.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend).
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors and promote goals.
• Participate in training and onboarding to be equipped for the role.
