Job summary

Centria Autism in Cambridge, MA is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while helping reduce challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; you should be passionate, patient, and able to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy when working with children.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Collaborate with team to support each child’s development.
