Job summary

Centria Autism in the United States seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills, while reducing interfering behaviors.

You’ll need patience, compassion, and the ability to work well in a team; comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test (if you haven't had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Move, stand, walk, sit, lift, and carry as needed to support activities with children.
