Job summary

Blackbird Health in Maryland is seeking an Autism Evaluator to combine neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations with ongoing, evidence‑based psychotherapy. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary care team to support children, adolescents, and families, balancing testing and therapy within a flexible schedule.

The role requires a PsyD license in Maryland and 2+ years of clinical care, with strong diagnostic writing and collaborative skills. Hybrid onsite/remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Active PsyD license in Maryland.
• 2+ years of clinical care with children, adolescents, and families.
• Exceptional clinical writing and diagnostic documentation skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations focusing on autism spectrum assessments (ADOS‑2, ASRS, CARS‑2).
• Synthesize data into clear, clinically sound diagnostic conclusions.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to clients and families after evaluations.
• Manage evaluation timelines and oversee report-writing, feedback appointments, and scheduling adjustments.
• Communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team and participate in weekly clinical consultations.
• Provide direct psychotherapy to a pediatric/young adult caseload and develop treatment plans.
