Blackbird Health is seeking an Autism Evaluator in Maryland to conduct autism-focused neurodevelopmental evaluations (ADOS‑2, ASRS, CARS‑2) and to provide ongoing, evidence‑based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. You’ll work within an interdisciplinary team and balance testing with therapy across a hybrid schedule.

The role requires an independent PsyD license in Maryland, 2+ years of clinical experience with children and families, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active, independent PsyD license in Maryland.
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical care experience with children, adolescents, and families.
• Exceptional clinical writing and diagnostic documentation skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct autism-related neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations (ADOS-2, ASRS, CARS-2).
• Synthesize data into clear diagnostic conclusions and recommendations.
• Deliver compassionate feedback to families with care pathway options.
• Manage evaluation timelines and oversee report-writing, feedback appointments, and scheduling.
• Communicate findings to the interdisciplinary care team and participate in weekly clinical consultations.
• Provide direct psychotherapy to pediatric and young adult clients.
• Perform biopsychosocial assessments to tailor treatment plans.
• Develop integrated, comprehensive treatment plans with multidisciplinary providers.
• Maintain timely, thorough clinical documentation.
