Bancroft is hiring Direct Support Professionals for the Lakeside Program in Monroeville, NJ. DSPs empower autistic and developmentally challenged individuals with daily living skills and goal attainment in a supportive, structured setting.

This onsite role emphasizes compassion, reliability and clear communication. Shift is 2nd with about 30 hours per week; pay ranges from $19.61 to $20.00 per hour plus incentives.

Competenze

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license in the candidate's legal name and current address, with at least one year of driving experience.
• Six months of related work experience or enrollment in Psychology/SW or related field.

Mansioni

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Provide daily living assistance including hygiene, meals, money management and housekeeping.
• Teach daily living and functional skills to help individuals reach personal goals.
• Accompany residents to healthcare appointments and community outings, and provide safe transportation.
• Resolve problem behaviors following Bancroft’s safety and crisis guidelines; complete paperwork and maintain communication with families.
