Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Center-Based Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA supervision. You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed to interact with, and for the safety and protection of your client(s).
