Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children with autism. You will implement individualized behavior plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support so you can grow in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs
• Running or moving quickly as needed to interact with, and for the safety and protection of your client(s)
