Job summary

Centria Healthcare seeks enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on autism intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while maintaining safety and positive behavior support.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patience, and compassion. Training is provided, and you must obtain CPR/First Aid and a TB test; RBT certification within 45 days is required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Ensure safety and supportive environment; participate in training provided by Centria Autism.
