Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance.

You will help teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based methods, while promoting safety and positive outcomes. Training is provided.

This role requires patience, teamwork and physical stamina to help children through diverse activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain).
• TB test (if not up to date).
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• On onboarding, obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote positive outcomes.
