Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

This role offers comprehensive training, a focus on teamwork, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on a child’s life. Pay range: $18-24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion for children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Work to reduce interfering behaviors.
