Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention under the supervision of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Comprehensive training is provided, and you’ll join a compassionate, team-focused environment. Expect to stand, walk, and assist with activities of daily living, and you may lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support learning in a team environment.
