Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. The role involves standing, walking, lifting, and assisting children up to 50 pounds. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
