Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training so you can contribute from day one. The role may involve standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and engaging in activities that support a child’s development in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy to support children with autism.
• Teamwork and collaboration with staff and BCBA.
• Minimum age 18+ and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist children in learning communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist with mobility and safety, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
