Job summary

ALLCARE HOMECARE LLC is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide 2:1 support for an adult client with Autism. The role focuses on active engagement, community involvement, and building a supportive relationship within a highly structured setting.

Ideal candidates are energetic, patient, and capable of following individualized plans with strong communication and teamwork. Training, ongoing coaching, and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to learn and follow detailed support plans.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 2:1 support to a client with Autism.
• Assist with community integration and social activities.
• Build a positive, respectful rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Follow individualized support plans and behavioral strategies.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Work closely with supervisors, family members, and support teams.
• Manage outbursts caused by seizures.
