Job summary

ALLCARE HOMECARE LLC in Torrance, CA is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide 2:1 support for an adult client with Autism. The role requires energetic, engaging staff who can build a positive, supportive relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.

You will follow individualized plans, participate in training, and work with supervisors, family, and the care team to support daily living, community integration, and progress notes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with Autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in all situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to learn and follow detailed support plans.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be willing to participate in training and ongoing coaching.

Allcare Homecare is seeking compassionate, patient, and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide 2:1 support service for an adult client with Autism. This position requires individuals who are energetic, engaging, and committed to building a positive and supportive relationship with the client.

The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys being active in the community, can provide companionship, and is comfortable working in a highly structured environment. Due to the complexity of the case, there is a significant amount of information, training, and support strategies that staff will be expected to learn and consistently implement.
