Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Independence, Oregon to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided; you should be patient and team-focused.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist with learning communication, social and daily living skills; manage safety and movement.
