Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism on a one-on-one basis, implementing individualized intervention plans under BCBA supervision. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. The role involves physical activity, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving between positions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Move and assist children up to 50 pounds as needed.
