Job summary

Centria Autism in Beaverton, OR is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and obtain CPR/First Aid certification and a TB test.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Be comfortable with activities requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Join a dedicated team and help improve outcomes for children and their families.
