Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. You must be patient and compassionate, able to work in a team, and physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age and HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills.
