Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism, implementing personalized intervention plans under a BCBA’s supervision.

You will apply evidence-based techniques to improve communication, social, and daily living skills, while maintaining safety and building trust with families. The role includes training and physical demands, with opportunities to grow in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test within 12 months.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans one-on-one with children.
• Work under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Ensure safety and comfort of clients during sessions.
