Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and expect compassion, patience, and teamwork. The physical demands include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexible, supportive care during activities with children.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be 18+ years of age and have legal eligibility to work in the US.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.
