Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism, implementing individualized plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work one-on-one to teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods, while reducing challenging behaviors.

Passion for helping children with autism, patience, and teamwork are essential. Role involves standing and lifting up to 50 pounds; comprehensive training is provided after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background check and required certifications (CPR/First Aid, TB test) before onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors by applying intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with BCBA and care team to monitor progress and adjust plans.
