Job summary

Centria Autism seeks a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Training is provided; prior autism experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Age 18+ and a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid and TB test are required.
• Background check must be cleared.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in reducing interfering behaviors and promoting safety.
• Participate in training to ensure proper delivery of services.
