Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children. Under the guidance of a BCBA, you will implement individualized behavior plans and teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient, compassionate, able to work in a team, and physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; the role pays $19–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Assist in safety and supervision as needed.
