Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children. You will implement individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and opportunities to grow in a structured field. The role requires physical stamina to assist children, with a pay range of $19–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and a TB test when required.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one intervention with children under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Move, stand, walk, and assist children safely as part of daily activities.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment to help children reach their potential.
