Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism, working one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills, while helping reduce challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate care, and training to prepare you for success, even if you lack prior experience.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Join a dedicated team and contribute to meaningful outcomes for children and families.
