Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We train you and embed a supportive team culture; you must be patient and compassionate, able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be patient, compassionate and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support client progress.
• Participate in comprehensive training to be fully prepared for the role.
