Job summary

Centra Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians in the United States. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. Training is provided to help you develop skills in communication, social learning, and daily living tasks while ensuring safety and supportive care.

Pay ranges from $17–$20 per hour. Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and able to rise to the physical demands of working with children, including

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Candidated must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with a BCBA under supervision to adapt plans as needed.
• Maintain safety and support positive interactions during sessions.
• Engage in onboarding and training to become proficient in methods.
