Job summary

Centria Autism seeks a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training, and no prior experience is required. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a patient, collaborative, reliable mindset in a dynamic pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and a TB test.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA supervision to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with BCBA and other staff to monitor progress and adjust plans.
• Move, stand, walk, and position children safely during activities.
• Maintain a patient, compassionate, and team-oriented approach.
