Job summary

Centria Autism in Texas is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. The role includes teaching communication, social and daily living skills, supporting families, and maintaining safety. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with team to support children and families.
• Ensure safety during activities and mobility, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
