Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while fostering a supportive, safe environment.

You will receive comprehensive training, be required to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB tests, and, after onboarding, pursue an RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to support client progress.
• Contribute to a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
