Job summary

Corewell Health's Children's Center in Southfield is hiring a Behavior Technician to implement ASD-focused interventions under supervision of a BCBA, reporting to department leadership. This role supports children with autism and other developmental disabilities in a collaborative clinical setting.

Requirements include a High School diploma, commitment to RBT training within 6 months, and BLS certification; experience with children with special needs preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Commit to completing the Registered Behavior Technician training within 6 months.
• Experience in childcare or work with children with special needs or mental health related experience preferred.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) within 180 days or equivalent.
• BCBA certification within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Implement programming and feedback as directed by the Board-C Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Report to department leadership and maintain clear documentation.
• Apply behavior analytic interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities.
