Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under supervision of a BCBA. You’ll teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods, while remaining patient, compassionate, and collaborative in a team setting.

Comprehensive training is provided; prior experience not required. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and obtain necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
